VII International Economic Forum will be held from 26 to 27 November 2020

Since 2012, International Institute of Economics, Management and Information Systems of the Altai State University (Barnaul) holds an annual economic forum «Economic development of the region: management, innovation, training”. The forum is attended by representatives of government authorities, teachers of higher educational institutions, graduate students and the scientific community. Materials of the best presentations are published in conference proceedings (ISSN 2542−0690), presented on the e-library platform and indexed in the RSCI.

In 2020, the forum will discuss the following issues:

  • problems of economic development in countries and regions in conditions of instability;
  • digitalization of the economy, education and training in the new reality;
  • the role of additional professional education for the development of advanced technologies in countries and regions;
  • development of entrepreneurship and its role in ensuring sustainable development of territories;
  • new areas and technologies of entrepreneurship in the context of digitalization of the economy, as well as other relevant topics and problems.

The forum program includes a wide range of events, including the following:

  • International scientific and methodological conference «Digitalization of the economy and education: new technologies in the context of the pandemic”,
  • Scientific and practical round table «Digital solutions in industry and business”;
  • Foresight session «Effective business: secrets of successful entrepreneurship”;
  • Discussion platform «Development of financial literacy competencies in digital economy training”;
  • Project foresight session «HR services for business: opportunities of the regional educational ecosystem”
  • International competition of scientific works of bachelors, masters and specialists.

One of the key events of the forum is an international scientific and methodological conference on «Digitalization of the economy and education: new technologies in the context of a pandemic”, organized by:

The international scientific and methodological conference will consist of four sections held at the sites of Altai State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Oryol State University named after I. S. Turgenev and the Kazakh-German University:

Section 1, site of AltGU. Sustainable development of the territory’s economy in conditions of uncertainty;

Section 2, site of Al-Farabi Kazakh national University. Impact of SMART technologies on economic and educational processes in the context of the pandemic;

Section 3, site of OSU named after I. S. Turgenev. Information and analytical support of digital educational processes for the development of the regional economy;

Section 4, site of Kazakh-German University. Digitalization of the supply chain.

The Seventh International Economic Forum «Economic development of the region: management, innovation, training” will be held from 26 to 27 November 2020 in an online format.

Registration of forum participants is carried out on the website (http://miemis.asu.ru/events/ekonomicheskij-forum-ekonomicheskoe-razvitie-regiona-upravlenie-innovatsii-podgotovka-kadrov/) until November 18, 2020. There is no registration fee for participation in the conference.

The conference diary will be published on the website of the International Institute of Economics, Management and Information systems of the Altai State University. As a result of the conference, a collection of articles will be published with its placement on the e-library platform and indexing in the RSCI.

Full texts of articles (up to 20 thousand characters in size, completed in compliance with the requirements set out in Annex 1 to this letter) should be sent by e-mail forum-miemis@mail.ru (as an attachment to a file with the name «Ivanov_statya.doc», or «Ivanov,­ Petrov_statya.doc») until November 25, 2020. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select submitted applications and materials for publication.

The International competition of scientific works of bachelors, masters and specialists (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) will be held in the following thematic areas:

  • Innovative economy.
  • Digitalization of education.
  • Economic security.
  • Finance and financial literacy.
  • Accounting, analysis and audit.
  • Student and social entrepreneurship.

Works are submitted to the Competition exclusively in electronic form, subject to the requirements set out in Annex 2 to this letter, until November 25, 2020 by e-mail forum-miemis@mail.ru (as an attachment to the email file with the name «last name of the participant_supervisor's name_competition.doc»).
