SEGK — Coexistence of ethnic groups in Kazakhstan (2017−2018).

The aim of the project, funded by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Kazakhstan, was to study individual ethnic groups in Kazakhstan, their views and attitudes to the interethnic situation and the state of ethnic representation in the country.

In addition to DKU, the project partners were Nazarbayev University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, KIMEP University and L. N Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The study focused, in particular, on the situation of Russian, Uzbek, Ukrainian, German, Chechen and Uighur ethnic groups. The project participants developed recommendations on the interethnic policy in Kazakhstan.
