Virtual conference «Central Asian Countries and the Eurasian Economic Union: Status Quo and Prospects»

June 4, 2020 from 10:00 — 12:00 (CET)/14:00 — 16:00 (local time) will host the online conference «Central Asian Countries and the Eurasian Economic Union: Status Quo and Prospects” at the initiative of the German Representative Office economy in Central Asia in close cooperation with the Kazakh-German University (DKU). Schneider Group serves as a partner.

During the meeting the following issues will be discussed:

What does the EAEU represent today and how can we assess its development? Whether this supranational economic association is beneficial to member countries from Central Asia, or even in general to the Central Asian region, or whether it is for them rather problematic? What are the prospects of the EAEU and what alternative forms of regional and economic cooperation are available for the Central Asian region today?

The event is held in German and Russian and is accompanied by simultaneous translation.
