The official diploma awarding ceremony 2019

On June 26, the official diploma awarding ceremony for DKU alumni took place in Miras ceremonies hall. The evening was warm and emotional. All guests enjoyed taking pictures and sharing memories about their student life.

Our graduates in caps and gowns were met with loud applause in the hall for diplomas official awarding. The evening program was diverse and very interesting. The opening speech was given by the President of the University, Mr. Laszlo Ungvari who congratulated the graduates and during the presentation of diplomas found parting words for each of them. Also, the presentation was attended by the Consul General of Germany in Almaty, Mr. Jorn Rosenberg who also made a speech and spoke about the Master's programs and prospects for continuing education in Germany.

Students who took an active part in the life of the University were awarded with letters of thanks. The graduates showed great performances for all guests. One of the most memorable and unusual performances was a song dedicated to the University, written and performed by the graduates themselves, in the end of which they threw their caps up. It was the final chord of both their song and the official part of the award.⠀⠀
