The II stage of the XI Republican Subject Student Olympiad of specialty 5В070300- Information Systems
On April 20, the Kazakh-German University holds the II stage of the XI Republic Student Subject Olympiad of specialty 5В070300- Information system according to the schedule of the Subject Olympiad approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Republican Olympiad will be held in 3 disciplines:
- Data Basis in Information Systems
- Algorithm, Data Structure and Programming
- Computers Network
The Republican Subject Olympiad on the highlighted disciplines will be held based on tasks in Kazakh, Russian and English.
- Tasks on subjects Data Basis in Information Systems and Computer Networks will be in the form of closed tests.
- Tasks on subject Algorithms, Data Structures and Programming will be in the form of three tasks on programming which includes making a source code in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python 2, Python 3, Java, and Pascal.
Assessment of the tests performed by students will be provided on each discipline separately in scores. Tests on each discipline will be rated in 100 scores. Total score will be a mean value of results on disciplines. The students who gained the biggest quantity of scores will the winner of the Olympiad.
The Program of the Olympiad with details on time and venue will be published on the KGU’s web-site on 1.04.2019.
Up to 2 students from one university who major in the specialty 5В070300- Information Systems are eligible to participate in the Subject Olympiad. The students must have ID card and student ID card. A team from the university must be accompanied by lecturer-supervisor.
When the students are selected to participate in the II stage of the Olympiad, a university sends the following documents to the KGU:
- Letter signed by the rector (prorector) on results of the first of the stage or resolution of the Academic council drawn in minutes;
- Application for participation in the II stage of the Republic subject Olympiad (to be filled by each participant)

IMPORTANT:
- KGU doesn’t provide accommodation to participants of II stage of the Republic Olympiad.
- Travel expenses (travel, accommodation and food) of participants and supervisor are paid sending university.
The university-organizer (the KGU) will not participate in the Olympiad.
