The meeting with the acting Vice-Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University, Mr. Kali Omarov.

Vice-Rector of Kazakh-German University (KGU), Dr. Barbara Janusz-Pawletta, met with the acting Vice-Rector for research and international relations of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University, Mr. Kali Omarov.

The meeting took place on November 27, prior to the international seminar «Prospects for the development of «green” energy in the Aral Sea basin” organized by the KGU, where Mr. Omarov participated as a moderator.

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University is one of the leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which provides training of competitive specialists with modern higher and postgraduate education for agriculture and water management sectors. In this regard, representatives of two universities discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of knowledge exchange for Integrated Water Resources Management, climate change and renewable energy sources among specialists and young professionals of Central Asia. In addition, the possibility of the joint implementation of international projects was put on the agenda of the meeting.

The meeting resulted in an agreement on further development of business relations between universities.
