Results of the online round table «Small Hydro-power plants in Central Asia»

May 30, 2020 YouTube channel «Land and Water CA”, with information support from Kazakh-German University and Central Asian Network of Knowledge Sharing Development Program Energy and Water Resources of Central Asia of the World Bank, held an online round table «Small Hydro-power plants in Central Asia”.

The round table was attended by 42 participants: scientists, specialists and administrators in the field of energy, and PhD students as well. Two reports were heard and a discussion on the topics suggested by the rapporteurs was held. Media materials are published on the YouTube channel «Land and Water CA”, one of the largest media platforms for discussion of cultural landscape management in Central Asia.

Blashko Yakov Iosifovich «Equipment of SHPPs of Eurasian space: a brief overview”

Report devoted to the review of turbines production for small hydropower plants in Eurasian space. Optimal solutions for the development of SHPPs in modern conditions are proposed. Video recording of the report is available at:
