On September 5, DKU held a press-breakfast

The President of Deutsch Kasachische Universitatät —Laszlo Ungvari met with journalists and bloggers during the press breakfast to discuss the latest European trends in higher education and topical issues of science, ecology, development of the professional community of Kazakhstan. The meeting also discussed the role of the world's leading universities, including DKU, in the development of science and modern developments in the field of renewable energy and water conservation in the Central Asian region.

At the press-breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere leading representatives of the traditional media and the blogging community of Kazakhstan got acquainted with DKU main activities, as well as the participation of the University in the formation of scientific potential and social development of the country.
The contest «Together we make history and reach the heights” was announced at the press-breakfast and can be attended by representatives of the media from Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The aim of the contest is to identify the most relevant, bright and topical journalistic works on the proposed 23 topics in 4 nominations.

The competition will be held as part of the celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary of the Deutsch Kasachische Universitatät, which will be celebrated on 20 September 2019. It is from this date that the competition will be launched, which will last until May 20, 2020. Materials published by journalists/bloggers/photographers in print media, in news agencies, on media websites/blogs, or posted on television or radio during the specified period will be accepted for participation in the competition. The results of the competition will be announced on May 31, 2020 on the University's website www.dku.kz

The main prize of the competition for the brightest coverage of the proposed topics will be a tour to Germany, to the DKU partner universities.
