KGU has once again justified its position as a leader!

The survey performed among students of Almaty universities showed that the Kazakh-German University ranked among the top three universities free from corruption.

The survey was initiated by the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-corruption and carried out by the project office Adaldyq Alany in Almaty within the frame of «Sanaly Urpaq» project http://sanalyurpaq.kz/.

In total, more than nine thousand students from 33 higher education institutions, both public and private, were interviewed.

According to the results of the survey, the overall index of perception of corruption in educational institutions amounted to 4.60 points out of 5 possible, where 1 — negative value (unsatisfactory, very bad) 5 — the maximum positive score — excellent.

In particular, 72% of the surveyed students say that they have never faced the problem of corruption during their studies, and 66% noted that zero tolerance should be the norm for all universities.
