IV International Festival of Mediation «Mediation for business, state and public organizations!» May 16−17,
On May 16−17, 2019 Minsk has received the mediators from different countries at the IV International Festival of Mediation. The festival organizers were able to create an open space for mediators: lively discussion, expert discussions, joint search for solutions to the problematic issues of promoting mediation, workshops, master classes made the days of the Festival very rich.
Associate Professor of the Faculty of social and political Sciences Ms. Gulmaidan Urozbaeva had the honor to present the Kazakh-German University at the plenary session as a speaker with the theme: «Experience of implementation of mediation institute in the Republic of Kazakhstan» during which the welcoming speech of President/Rector Doctor of Economics Professor Laszlo Ungvari was read out and important aspects related to the promotion of mediation in Kazakhstan were covered.
Master class «Practice of mediation in the resolution of labor disputes in the Republic of Kazakhstan» by the speaker Ms. Gulmaidan Urozbaeva allowed participants to learn algorithm of labor disputes in Kazakhstan, the development of labor mediation and other features of the promotion of mediation in Kazakhstan.
The festival has become a good platform for networking, exchange of experience, obtaining practical knowledge on mediation for more than 100 participants from 14 countries.
Thus, our University received invitation from the organizing Committee to participate in the IV International student competition «Mediation of the future» on November 7−9, 2019 in Minsk.
