DKU was a co-host of the ESCAS 2023 Regional Conference «Power, people and cultural change in an ever-evolving Central Asia»

Around 300 scholars from all around the globe and from diverse disciplines attended the conference and shared their research on Central Asia. We are grateful to ESCAS for inviting us to be the co-host of the conference alongside with KIMEP and Kazakh Al-Farabi National University.

A big thank you to DKU professors Prof. Dr Burnashev Rustam, Prof. Dr Irina Chernykh, Dr Alexander Ten, Dr Gulmaidan Urozbaeva, Zumrat Sanakulolva, Bakhytgul Tokbergenova and Dr Serik Beimenbetov who served as chairs, discussants and speakers during this impressive four-day event.
