DKU Talks «The contribution of DKU students to environmental decarbonization»

Nowadays issues related to climate change are in the spotlight worldwide. On this occasion, DKU is dedicating its next DKU Talk to the theme «The contribution of DKU students to environmental decarbonization”.

As part of this meeting, five DKU students Daulet Bakytzhan, Alina Khan, Maria Limar, Dmitry Pavlov and Daria Rodionova, spent one semester at the University of Applied Sciences of Hamburg within the Double Degree program, together with their project leader, Doctor of Engineering Dagmar Rokita, will present their new scientific project on decarbonization of the environment.

Dr. Dagmar Rokita is engaged in research in physics, energy, noise analysis and noise control. She has extensive industrial experience in the ports of Hamburg, Logistik AG, as well as in DV-Convent GmbH. Since 2007 she has been an assistant professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, where she pays special attention as a trainer and a multiplier to teaching for competency-based education.

Dagmar did a PhD degree at the Technical University of Hamburg on the topic «Dynamic modeling of complex reactions in the fluidized bed.» She is a member of the FTZ Technical Acoustics Research and Transfer Center and a member of the X-eptance — Environment and Perception research project (promoting the environment and perception in the context of expanding renewable energy sources).
