DKU Talks Brexit: causes and consequences

The Kazakh-German University (DKU) within the frame of discussion platform DKU Talks has the pleasure to invite everyone to open lecture hosted by the Professor and Doctor of economic sciences (High School Zittau/Görlitz, Germany) Bodo Lochman on: Brexit causes and consequences The lecture will be followed by discussion with the lecturer and participants. Doctor Bodo Lochman is a consultant and docent of the number of universities on the territory of the former Soviet Union.

Dr. Lochmann graduated from the Plekhanov Institute of Economic Studies in 1973 majoring in National Economy planning In 1975−1978 in the same institute he defended his candidate dissertation on fixed assets reproduction in energy sector. In 1990 he defended his doctoral dissertation in the Freiberg Technical University (Germany) on the issues of strategic development of nuclear power and received his doctor degree in economics.

Dr. Lochman has many years work experience:

1973−1975 he worked as a Research Fellow in the Technical University of Energy in Zittau

1978−1986 he was the head of Economic Department in Pentacon Company, Dresden (Germany).

1973−1975 he worked as a Docent in the Technical University of Energy in Zittau (Germany).

1992−1998, Dr. Lochman was a Project Manager of the EU and Federal Government of Germany in the CIS countries (implementation of projects and trainings on quality management, innovation management, marketing and energy management)

1998−2015 he worked in the sphere of higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including:

1998 — 2001 docent in the Academy of state service under the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan

2001−2015 docent of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in the Kazakh-German University in Almaty (DKU)

2004 -2007 Rector of DKU

2008 — 2015 Vice-rector on science and international connections

2008 — 2015 Organizer and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics — conferring the title of the DKUProfessor

2008: conferring the title of the Honorary Professor of the Kazakh Economic University named after Ryskulov
