DKU hosted an International day

On Monday, November 18, DKU hosted an International Day to familiarize our local and international students with peculiarities of interaction between Germany and Central Asian region (CA).

The event program included speakers from the Union of German Economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Central Asia, as well as the DAAD Information Center in Almaty.

During the international day, students got acquainted with the political context of cooperation between Germany and Central Asia countries, and discussed the details of their economic interaction.

Students were also able to learn more about pursuing PhD study programs in Germany and other international educational, internship or cultural opportunities.

Student council members presented the activities and events of DKU StuRA to international students. In turn, students from CA made brief presentations about their home countries, followed by their national treats.
