Central Asian Expert Forum «Local and Global Challenges in Central Asia»
The Faculty of World Politics and the Centre for Research and Graduate Education of the Kazakh-German University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) together with the Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Astana, Kazakhstan) are organizing the Central Asian Expert Forum «Local and Global Challenges in Central Asia», which will be held in hybrid format on 6 December from 9 to 18 at the
Kazakh-German University, 173 Nazarbayev Avenue, Almaty. As part of this forum, we will organize a conference section on «Central Asia: Capturing social, political and economic transformations”.
With this letter, we cordially invite you to participate in both events and submit your abstracts for presentation at the said section. Successful abstracts will be selected for participation and their authors will be invited to present their papers, which will then be published in the conference proceedings. Please see below for details on the main deadlines for submission of papers.
- Participation format: hybrid online/offline
- Languages: Russian, English, German, Kazakh
- Abstracts (no more than 200 words) for participation in the section will be accepted until 15 November 2023.
- Articles (not more than 6000 words, including bibliography) for publication free of charge will be accepted until 15 December 2023.
