Webinar on participation in the Breakthrough Technologies Competition 2021 will be held on 15.12.2020

A webinar to explain the main stages of the Breakthrough Technologies Competition 2021-Land Restoration in the Aral Sea region will be held on December 15, 2020.

Organizers: startup platform Plug and Play Tech Center (headquartered in Silicon Valley) together with representatives of the World Bank and the Natural Resources Institute DKU

About the contest:

• implemented by the World Bank, the Global Landscape Forum (GLF), the Kazakh-German University (DKU) and Plug and Play (P&P).
• supported by the Water and Energy Program for Central Asia (CAWEP).
• as part of the World Bank's Central Asian Sustainable Landscape Program RESILAND CA+.

The Breakthrough and Innovative Technologies Competition 2021 is aimed at identifying and supporting breakthrough technologies and innovative approaches in the field of land restoration in the Aral Sea region and in Central Asia. Read more at the link here.

Applications for participation in the Applications are accepted in English until January 15, 2021 inclusive.

The winners will receive awards, as well as the opportunity to complete trainings and participate in a mentoring program in the period from February to June 2021.
