Did you know that since the 1960s The Aral Sea has shrunk to about one-tenth (!!!) its previous size.

The consequences of land degradation have a negative impact on the livelihoods of the local population, which is more than 40 million people! Land restoration requires new, accessible, innovative approaches and solutions.

International experts Vadim Sokolov and Kristina Toderich will share their suggestions and views on the most effective measures to restore the Aral Sea.
