We invite you to the interactive online meeting «River Basin Organizations (ORBS) and the implementation of contractual obligations by countries».

The event will be addressed by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of DKU, Barbara Janusz-Pavletta, Doctor of Law.

Meeting goals:

-Explore different ways in which ORBS can support countries in meeting their treaty obligations and in sharing experiences on some of the challenges and opportunities they face

-discussion of topical issues in the framework of discussion groups.

world university professors, experts in networks and cross-border water cooperation, lawyers, representatives of the World Bank, participants in cross-border projects, specialists in river protection.

This event will be held within the framework of the series of online meetings «Cross-border Train of Freshwater Safety Management». Classes are held in the «train» mode, stopping in different parts of the world. At each of the stops, a separate topic is studied from a Large Open Online Course (MOOC) on managing the safety of Transboundary freshwater.
