The Kazakh-German University Open Day was held online via ZOOM platform with the opportunity to pass a trial test.

The event started with a brief announcement of the program of the event, which, as a moderator, was announced by Natalia Broslavskaya, Head of the Department of Internal and External Communications of DKU.

The welcoming speech was delivered by Professor Dr. Volrad Rommel, President of DKU. In his speech, he noted that DKU is a compact university, so the university takes care of educational processes and it is important for it that everyone has the opportunity to receive a quality education. Also Prof. Rommel noted that graduates of the Kazakh-German University have excellent chances for growth and career advancement, because after graduation they have not only professional knowledge and skills, but also have excellent language training.

Further, the program included presentations of faculties and the following speakers:

Dinara Tyulubayeva — Representative of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology;

Nurlan Almerekov — Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship

Oksana Shkapyak — Dean of the Faculty of World Politics

Also, representatives of DKU departments also spoked about educational programs and their content, about student scientific activities.

Elena Asmus — Head of the Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility,

Nailya Saniyazova — Head of the Department of Social Work and Career;

Yeldos Korabaev — representative of the Admissions Committee;

Tatiana Kruglik — Head of the Center for Pre-University and Vocational Training;

Maria Bachurka — Director of the Institute of Language Training and Certification.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the Ambassadors club — Didar Beisengazy and Danel Issayeva talked about the club and student life amd held a Kahoot game with the participants of the event.
