The presentation of the book took place at DKU «100 years of the Communist Party of China — years of struggle and victories»

The presentation of the book «100 years of the Communist Party of China — Years of struggle and victories” edited by Professor Bulat Klychbaevich Sultanov was held at the Kazakh-German University.

The event was attended by Kazakhstani scientists and experts, as well as members of the Expert Club «One Belt One Road». Dr. Gabriele Stauner, President of the Kazakh-German University and Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty — Ms. Jiang Wei made a welcoming speech to the participants.

In their speeches, they noted the importance of further development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, and also thanked Professor Bulat Klychbaevich for his work in preparing and publishing the collection of materials of the conference «100 years of the Communist Party of China — years of struggle and victories».

The participants of the discussion within the framework of the presentation of the book were:

• Khafizova Klara Shaisultanovna — Professor, Chief Researcher of the Center for Rapprochement of Cultures of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Kozhirova Svetlana Basievna — Professor, Head of the Center for Chinese and Asian Studies of the Astana International Scientific Complex.

• Kaukenova Tatiana Vladimirovna is a leading expert of the China Center for Chinese Studies.

• Anton Borisovich Bugayenko is an independent expert.

• Buluktaev Yuriy Ochirovich — Chief Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Zhusipov Bakhyt Sailaubaevich — Second Secretary of the Almaty City Committee of the People's Party of Kazakhstan

The author of the collection Bulat Sultanov, Director of RIIRC DKU, professor, politician and statesman, Honored Worker of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that this collection was prepared on the basis of reports of the scientific conference «100 years of the Communist Party of China — years of struggle and victories”, which took place on June 2, 2021 in Almaty. The organizer of this conference was the Expert Club «One Belt and One Road” together with the Research Institute of International and Regional Cooperation of the Kazakh-German University and the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty.

Historical information:

100 years ago, in the summer of 1921, the largest event of world significance took place in Shanghai — the Founding Congress of the Communist Party of China was held, which proclaimed its goal to build socialism and communism. Currently, the Chinese Communist Party, which has adopted the theory of a socialist market economy, is building socialism with Chinese specifics. As a result, China, under the leadership of the Communist Party, has turned from a poor and backward country into one of the leading countries in the world, into the second largest economy in the world, into one of the main engines of global economic growth.

The expert club «One Belt One Road» was established on November 28, 2017 at the initiative of Kazakhstani scientists and experts studying the history of China, Kazakh-Chinese relations, problems of international and regional cooperation, as well as teachers of Almaty higher educational institutions. The main goals of the club are to promote the deepening of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation, the successful implementation of the «One Belt One Road» initiative, the coupling of the Kazakhstan strategic program «Nurly Zhol» with the concept of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
