The Renewable Energy Trip 2021 expedition has ended

The Renewable Energy Trip 2021 expedition ended last week.

7 days, 10 objects of renewable energy sources (hereinafter RES), a lot of impressions and new knowledge!

The route of the trip:

• Nurgisa 100 MW Solar Park Solar Power Plant.
• Small hydroelectric power stations Merkenskaya HPP-1 and 2.
• The solar power plant «Stormy Solar».
• Nura Solar Power plant.
• Solar power plant «Saran».
• The first wind power station near the city of Ereimentau.
• Wind power plant «Astana EXPO-2017».
• A renewable energy landfill and a Yurt next to the PE «NURIS» Technopark.
• The mosque with zero energy consumption «Flower of the Almighty».

At the end of the expedition, 16 selected young RES specialists from different Central Asian countries:

• gained knowledge, developed their skills and gained experience in practical research;
• they collected information for their bachelor's and master's theses, research, and scientific works on renewable energy;
• we exchanged experience between the countries in order to initiate closer cooperation.
