The International Conference «Development of Mediation Institute in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries» was held at DKU

The Kazakh-German DKU University, the Department of Political Science and Political Technologies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Parasat Center for Mediation and Law held an international online conference on the topic «Development of the Institute of Mediation in Kazakhstan and in neighboring countries».

The conference was attended by mediators from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, as well as students, undergraduates and doctoral students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and DKU.

The conference participants discussed the experience of the development of mediation institutions in neighboring countries and proposed to create a permanent international dialogue platform to promote the mediation institute in Belarus, Of Russia, Ukraine and Central Asian countries based on DKU.

The conference was held within the framework of the project «Analysis of the development of conciliatory practices in the Republic of Kazakhstan (2000−2020)» supported by a research grant from DKU/KNU.
