Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation Scholarships
We invite to participate in the competitive scholarship program from the Scientific and Educational Foundation named after academician Shakhmardan Yessenov.
Participants of the program: citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan over 18 years who study at Kazakhstani universities on 2−3 courses of bachelor’s degree or 1-year master’s degree in geology, IT, medical, technical and engineering specialties.
Within the framework of the program, 17 scholarships of 27,000 tenge will be distributed, which are paid monthly in the period from May to December 2021.
To participate in the competition for the scholarship named after Sh. Yessenov you need:
1. Fill out an online application on the Foundation's website — www.yessenovfoundation.org
2. Attach to the application:
Required documents:
- Scan of the ID card.
- Address on the topic «What have I done and will do for the science of Kazakhstan? What is important to me and why? (the request can only be submitted in writing).
- Student transcript (average GPA score not lower than 3.0). Applications with a score below 3.0 are not considered.
- A copy of the diploma of higher education for master's students (bachelor, specialist).
Additional documents:
- Scientific certificates/diplomas-no more than 2 certificates*.
- Certificates confirming social activity and volunteering — no more than 3 certificates*.
- Publication — no more than 2 publications*.
* The Fund considers a limited number of certificates. You need to select the certificates that best reflect your achievements.
Applications are accepted on the Foundation's website from January 25 to February 26, 2021.
Applications will be accepted on February 26, 2021 at 15: 00 Nur-Sultan Time (GMT+6). Applications received after the deadline are not considered.
