Scholarships from the Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives

You have a chance to get a scholarship from the the Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives!

This scholarship program is intended for University graduates with at least a bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences, whose research and study projects have a thematic or institutional connection to Berlin. The scholarships are valid for further scientific studies at all state and state-recognized universities and research institutions in Berlin.

Each year, the Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives awards 15 grants, each designed for 10 months and amounts to:
1.100 EUR per month for graduate and doctoral students.
1.630 EUR for post-doctoral scholars per month.
Deadline: December 15, 2020 Duration of the program: from October 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022.

Historical information: the Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives was established by the Berlin Parliament in 1994 as a sign of gratitude to the Allied Forces who had a significant impact on public life in Berlin in the decades after the end of World War II. The main purpose of the Study Foundation is to support and expand contacts with the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries of the former Soviet Union.
