Registration for participation in the seventh summer school in the Aral Sea is open

We invite you to take part in the seventh summer school «Water in the Aral Sea basin in the context of climate change: Management and policy issues from the point of view of data and knowledge».

Dates: June 14−25, 2021

Format: online

Language: English.

The Summer School program includes:

-in-depth introduction to the Geographic information System (GIS),

-overview of remote sensing applications for land and water resources monitoring,

-introduction to climate data analysis,

-introduction to GRACE.

You are invited to participate:

Masters and doctoral students, as well as junior university professors, researchers and specialists interested in integrated water and land resources management tools and their practical application in Central Asia.

Candidates must be residents of Central Asian countries and Afghanistan.

Applications are accepted:

until May 14, 2021, inclusive.
