How our master’s students do their internship

Until the end of March, 2021, our 2nd year master’s students of the program «Integrated Water Resources Management» undergo research practice. Earlier we’ve already published 3 posts on this subject.

This time our students from Tajikistan decided to share information on practical training.

For example, Orzu Odinaev undergoes the research practice in the Agency on Hydrometeorology of the Committee of Environmental protection at the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (http://meteo.tj/, https://www.facebook.com/tajhydromet).

As Orzu noted, his responsibilities include working with a large amount of data: «I am glad to get new experience in drawing up the hydrological inventory, studying the principles and methods of hydrological forecasting by using foreign hydrological models and also in field works on country hydroposts (measurement of water consumption and other hydrological parameters) with use of the Doppler profilograph».

His compatriot Mehrojiddin Rajabov prepared video as a review of his practice in the Executive Committee of MFSA in the city of Dushanbe. Mehrojiddin told us that «the accumulated experience, skills and knowledge at the Kazakh-German University help me to cope with the tasks set, as well as to look at the IWRM process from the inside on the example of Tajikistan”. The video is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCyoDS6NSu8.

We wish our students further success practical training.
