October 3, Germany celebrates a national holiday — the Day of German Unity.
This date was marked by the signing of the agreement on the unification of Germany and the GDR in 1990.

And also today is significant because Frau Ines Berger (Folvslast) celebrates her birthday — the first president of the Kazakh-German University.
