DKU student, Alina Vasilyeva took 3rd place in fencing at the 11th Summer Universiade in Kazakhstan

Our 1st year student majoring in Transport Logistics, Alina Vasilyeva took 3^rd place in fencing at the XI Summer Universiade of Kazakhstan.

The opening ceremony of the Summer Games took place on May 16, 2021 in Turkestan, and competitions in individual sports were held in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Turkestan, Taraz and Kostanai. Athletes from across Kazakhstan competed for prizes in 36 events.

Fencing finals, where Alina took third place, were held on May 28, Alina's birthday.
