DKU is pleased to announce a competition among its faculty members for a research project grant

The Kazakh-German University is pleased to announce a competition among its faculty members for a research project grant.

One research grant of up to 1,000,000 tenge may be awarded in the autumn semester of 2021 to conduct field (marketing) research, conduct a scientific experiment, purchase laboratory and experimental equipment and/or scientific literature, as well as to cover the costs associated with the publication of an article or a scientific (collective) monograph.

Grant proposals can be submitted from an individual faculty member or a research group consisting of several faculty members of DKU.

Following documents must be sent to the selection сommittee:

1. Application form (the application can be found in the attachment)

2. Statement of proposal, including:

• Cover page with project title, name, faculty, position, academic degree and title, contact information
• Detailed description of the scientific project (not more than 15 pages), including:

a) Introduction;

b) Relevance of the project;

c) Methodology;

d) Expected results;

e) References;

f) List of tables and graphs in a separate document (if applicable);

• Time schedule to complete the project (see the attachment);
• Budget (see the attachment)

3. A letter of recommendation from the dean of the faculty

4. List of publications for the last three years

5. Statement of non-conflict of interest (see the attachment)
