DKU employees took part in the International Scientific Conference CONMECHYDRO 2021

From April 1 to 3, 2021, the International Scientific Conference «Construction Mechanics, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering» CONMECHYDRO 2021 was held online.

At the opening of the event, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Kazakh-German University (DKU) Barbara Janusz-Pavletta, Doctor of Law delivered a welcoming speech.

The conference discussed new developments in the field of hydraulics and water management, mechanical engineering in agriculture, hydropower, water and land management, land reclamation, construction, construction and road equipment.

On April 2, 2021, DKU Renewable Energy Project Manager Alexey Kobzev, together with Eduard Kan (Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers), moderated the session «Ecology, Hydropower and Modeling of Physical Processes».

Reports on the following topics were presented at this session:

-hydrological modes of drainage use,

-study of ground water,

-monitoring the vegetation cover of mountain ranges in GIS,

-landscape study of territories,

-physical process modeling and environmental monitoring,

-more than 30 other reports.

The conference is organized by the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIIMSH) (Uzbekistan), the Kazakh-German University (DKU) (Kazakhstan), St. Petersburg Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great (SPbPU) (Russia), Tashkent State Transport University (TSTU) (Uzbekistan), Karshi Engineering and Economic Institute (KIEI) (Uzbekistan), JSC «Gidroproekt» (Uzbekistan).
