DKU chess and Swimming competitions

On November 2, swimming competitions ended at the SOC «Kazakhstan», DKU students competed in backstroke in the 25 m and 50 m distances. The winners were:

Boys:

1^st place — Aituarov Daniyar, 1^st year student, EP «Environmental and energy engineering”

2^nd place — Sharipbek Margulan, 1st year student, EP «Management”

Anton Popov, 2nd year, EP «Transport Logistics» took part out of competition.

Girls:

1st place — Altynbekova Ayazhan, 1st year of EP «Marketing”.

2nd place — Ermukhametova Gulnaz, 1st year, EP «Finance”

And also on November 4, chess competitions were held, the chief judge was the head of the DKU chess club, a 4th—year student, EP «Telematics» — Maxim Sadykov. According to the results of the standings, the prizes were distributed as follows:

• 1st place — Aubakirov Tokhtar, 2nd year, EP «Mobile Computin»
• 2nd place — Ermukhametova Gulnaz, 1st year, OP «Finance»
• 3rd place was shared by Zhapbaraly Tumar, 1st year, OP «Environmental and energy technology» and Saginbek Ali, 2nd year, EP «Telematics»
