DKU Water Day, April 22, 2021

The UNESCO Chair on Water Resources Management in Central Asia at the Kazakh-German University invites you to take part in Water Day 2021, dedicated to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the International Year of Peace and Confidence.

Do not miss the opportunity to exchange experience, knowledge and skills acquired in the course of research in the natural science direction.

University students, young specialists and researchers, as well as teachers and experts on water issues are invited to participate.

History of World Water Day

In 1993, the UN General Assembly declared March 22 as World Water Day, and since 1994, this day has been dedicated annually to a specific topic — one of the main problems that requires immediate solutions.
