Sultanov Bulat Klychbaevich — Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan (05.12.2008); Honored Worker of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan (06.09.2011); Laureate of the Gold Medal named after A. Baitursynova of the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2011); Honorary Professor of the Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulova (28.06.2011); Honorary Professor of the Shanghai University of International Studies (17.04.2013).

Bulat Klychbaevich was born on September 6, 1951 in Alma-Ata.

Education:Higher. S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University, Faculty of History, Special Department (1968- 1974). Postgraduate study, full-time department, Lomonosov Moscow State University (1979−1982).

Specialty: New and recent history of the countries of Western Europe and America.

Academic degree: Doctor of Historical Sciences (2007).

The topic of the candidate's dissertation: «The attitude of the German Workers' Parties to To the Soviets of workers and soldiers during the German November Revolution of 1918−1919 — defended at the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, June 8, 1983

The topic of the doctoral dissertation «Kazakh-Russian relations in the context of Russia's strategic interests (late XX — early XXI centuries)» — defended at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 25.05.2007.

Academic title: Associate Professor of General History (1989).

Diplomatic rank: Adviser of the Diplomatic service of the first class (2002).
