Competition for grant funding under the exchange program for undergraduate students under the state educational grant

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan allocates grant funding under the exchange program for undergraduate students studying under a state educational grant to study in the winter semester of the 2022−2023 academic year at one of the partner universities of DKU.

The best 3 students will receive a grant that covers the costs of round-trip flights, accommodation for the period of study, medical insurance, visa and consular fees in the proportions established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Tuition at the host university is free.

The competition will be held in the format of an interview in a foreign language and in Russian. The decision on the grant allocation is made by the scholarship commission. The list of nominated students is sent to the partner university. The final decision on admission to study is made by the partner university (the decision depends on the availability of places for this specialty, on the deadlines for accepting documents, etc.).

The total amount of the grant is 1,283,840 tenge.


Important!
1. Before applying to study in the winter semester, it is necessary to find out as much information as possible about the partner university and the disciplines offered by the university in the winter semester. The disciplines of the partner university must correspond to your curriculum at DKU.
2. The grant amount may not cover all the necessary expenses, so it is necessary to provide for the possibility of depositing your own funds.

Requirements:

2nd and 3rd year BA students;

German B2-C1 level;

English B2-C1 level — for International Relations Program;

Average score for the entire period of study at least 4.0;

GPA not lower than 3.0;

Citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

study under the state grant.

Hochschule Rhein-Waal (International relations);

Hochschule Hof (it is necessary to look at the correspondence of curricula);

Mikolas Romeris University, Lithuania (economic specialties, international relations), in rare cases, the university accepts students with the level of English B1.


Documents for participation in the competition for BA students:

1) Application form (with the applicant's signature and the date of completion);

2) A questionnaire with 3×4 photo (with date of filling and signed by applicant);

3) Motivation letter (with date of filling and signed by applicant);

4) Transcript given by Academic Department;

5) A certificate indicating the language level from the language center;

6) A copy of the passport;
