Appointment of a new head of the Kazakh-German University

Since October 1, 2021, Professor, Dr. Volrad Rommel has assumed the post of president of the Kazakh-German University. On the occasion of the appointment of the new head of DKU, a solemn reception was held, which was attended by the heads of various departments of the university, as well as representatives of the German community of Kazakhstan:

• The Consulate General of Germany.
• Large international and European companies.
• Editorial offices of the German edition of DAZ.
• The Kazakh Association of Germans «Renaissance» and many others.

A welcoming speech was delivered by Ms. Gabriele Stauner, who handed over the powers of the president to Professor Dr. Volrad Rommel and wished success and good luck in her new position.

In turn, Dr. Volrad Rommel, welcoming the guests, made a brief announcement of plans for the development of the Kazakh-German University and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation with partners of the university.
