Apply to the CAYLA Academy before April 30

The Eurasia Foundation announces a competition for participation in the CAYLA Central Asian Youth Leadership Academy for young people aged 18 to 30 from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

What awaits CAYLA participants?

online training for five months;

CAYLA National and regional conferences;

individual and group study tours;

internship and mentoring opportunities;

the program of scholarships and youth grants.

The ideal candidates for participation are socially active and responsible members of society from the regions and cities of these countries.

CAYLA intends to bring together young professionals, entrepreneurs and active people who can contribute to the positive development of society.

CAYLA participants will be selected based on the following criteria:

Age: 18−30 years at the time of application.

High leadership potential.

The ability to articulate clearly and concisely the problem facing young people in the applicant's community, as well as potential solutions.

Experience in involving young people in public issues.

Motivation and desire to learn about the promotion of youth initiatives at the local level.

Experience in volunteering or implementing community projects (professional or entrepreneurial experience will be a plus).

Applications are accepted no later than April 30, 2021, until 23: 59 Almaty time (GMT + 6).
