Angela Merkel noted the importance of DKU for the development of bilateral relations

DKU operates under an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on further cooperation on the development of the Kazakh-German University in Almaty, concluded in Astana on September 3, 2008 and ratified on July 15, 2010. All these years, our university has been supported by both the Kazakh side and the German side. For example, at a press conference, within the framework of last year's visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Germany, Angela Merkel noted the importance of the Kazakh-German University for the development of bilateral relations between our countries.
