An online webinar on the topic was held on the GREEN WEBINAR educational platform: «The role of innovative technologies in the sustainable development of the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan»

DKU together with the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects (ICTIIP) held an online webinar on the topic: «The role of innovative technologies in the sustainable development of the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan» on the GREEN WEBINAR educational platform.

To date, the relevance of solving environmental problems in the agricultural sector is extremely high. An important topic of the seminar was the discussion of all the positive and negative aspects of the ways of using advanced technologies in agriculture.

The purpose of the webinar is to inform about innovative and sustainable methods in green economy policy using German practices.

The following topics were discussed during the web conference:

  • industrialization of agriculture in Kazakhstan with the help of hydrogels;

  • innovative and sustainable crop production methods for the steppes of Kazakhstan;

  • integrated water resources management with MIKE SHE and MIKE +;

  • The EU and Germany's farm-to-table policy, which is part of green technologies and green deal investments;

  • equipment for measuring the state of the environment for use in agriculture;

  • remote monitoring of sowing in agriculture;

  • recultivation of saline agricultural lands in Central Asia;

  • monitoring of water use efficiency in Central Asia.

International experts in the field of sustainable development, practicing exclusively on advanced technologies in the agricultural sector, were invited to this educational event.
