An agreement on the establishment of the Kazakh-German Institute of Sustainable Engineering was signed in Aktau.

During the state visit of the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to Astana, several documents were signed to strengthen Kazakhstan-German political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation.

As part of the official event, President of DKU, Professor Wolrad Rommel, and President of Yessenov University, Berik Akhmetov, signed an Agreement on the establishment of the Kazakh-German Institute of Sustainable Engineering.

On June 21, a delegation led by the Federal President of Germany arrived in Aktau to participate in the ceremony of the official opening of the institute.
