A series of seminars on Sustainable development of urban logistics in Almaty

LogCentre Communication and Transfer Center of Logistics created on the basis of the Kazakh-German University invites you to take part in a series of seminars on the topic Sustainable development of urban logistics in Almaty.

The event will take place: May 27, 2021, from 15−00 to 17−00 (Nur-Sultan time).

Event format: online, ZOOM platform.

Working language of the seminar: English (simultaneous translation into Russian).

This series of workshops aims to initiate new sustainable urban logistics solutions. The seminars have three goals:

• Motivate stakeholders to initiate new urban logistics systems.

• Share knowledge about urban logistics solutions and planning principles.

• Demonstrate the feasibility of cargo bikes as an urban logistics development solution and develop urban logistics add-ons for the SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan).

Format of the scientific event:

The seminar series is divided into two parts:

The first part consists of a series of online seminars on urban logistics and is designed to share knowledge. In the second part, it is planned to develop solutions. Some of the sessions will be held in the fall of 2021 as offline workshops. The seminars in October will be held in series with the participation of Dr. Assman.
