Educational trip to explore renewable energy best practices in Central Asia June 18−26, 2019

German-Kazakh University launches a call for participation in educational trip to explore best practices on renewable energy in Central Asia. It will be conducted in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan from 18 to 26 June 2019.

During the Educational trip students will receive a unique opportunity to visit and learn from practice of renewable energy objects and apply this knowledge to enhance theirresearches.
The educational trip will includevisiting facilities with renewable energy (RE) sources, discussionsin the frame of «round tables”, awareness meetings with end-users of renewable energy sources, preparation of show cases for best practices on RE.

The main objective of the educational trip is to visit the facilities for renewable energy sources in Central Asia which allows students to see in practice solar, wind and hydropower plants, better understanding technical and technological features, discus existing challenges and opportunities.

Who is eligible forparticipation:
• advanced BA, MA and PhD students from Central Asian universities.
• citizens of Central Asiancountries;
• excellent oral and written knowledge of the Russian language;

Participants will be selected on the competitive basis.

Cost of participation will be covered by organizers including air travel, accommodation, mealsand transportation during the trip.
