CAJWR is a bi-lingual, open-access, peer-reviewed e-Journal dedicated to water and environmental related aspects in Central Asia and the wider Eurasian region.

CAJWR does not have Article Processing Сharges (APC) and publication fees.

Indexation

CAJWR is indexed in DOAJ, EBSCO, IndexCopernicus, Google Scholar, the Russian Science Index System (RINZ), Cite Factor, ROAD directory of open access scholarly resources, CrossRef. CAJWR is included in the list of the recommended journals by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (subject areas: water resources and biology, order No 623 as of July 29, 2021; geography, order No 152 as of March 1, 2023).

REVIEW PROCESS

All articles are reviewed by two blind peer-reviewers, one from Central Asia and one from outside of the region. The reviewing process is supervised by an international editorial board with expertise in the region.

Goal

CAJWR seeks to reach all scientists focusing on water and environmental-related research in Central Asia and the wider Eurasian region and familiarize them with each other’s achievements, not limiting its range to the national audience. It aims at strengthening the existing networks to support creation of the regional scientific community with the goal of developing scientific research.

Bulletin of the DKU

The Bulletin of Kazakhstan-German University is a four-language peer-reviewed academic journal of DKU, published since 2013, which aims to promote scientific research in Central Asia. The journal from 2013 to 2018 was published under a different title "Bulletin of Kazakhstan-German University: Sustainable Development of Central Asia". Since 2018, the journal has been published under the title "Bulletin of the Kazakh-German University". We welcome for publication articles dealing with the following thematic areas:

Sustainable Development and Regional Integration in Central Asia;
society and culture in Central Asia;
political and economic development in Central Asia;
foreign policy and international relations in Central Asia;
engineering and technology development in Central Asia;
transportation and logistics in Central Asia;
ecology, energy efficiency and water resources management;
development of languages and literature in the region.

This collection includes the works of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev published in the period from March 20, 2019 to April 30, 2021. This collection includes the texts of 68 works of the Head of State, including two Addresses of the President K.K. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan, three articles, as well as 63 speeches, addresses and statements of the Head of Kazakhstan, devoted to the urgent problems of domestic and foreign policy, socio-economic development, as well as measures to counteract the pandemic coronavirus. The collection is intended for historians, political scientists, experts dealing with the problems of national history, international relations, foreign and domestic policy of our country, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as readers interested in the modern history of Kazakhstan.
