Tuition fees

The basic cost of tuition (excluding scholarships) at DKU is 1,500,000 tenge per year for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

There are internal grants and scholarships that allow you to reduce the cost of tuition from 15 to 70%.

Internal grants are proportional to the student's academic success. At our university, up to 40% of students receive scholarships!

IMPORTANT!

When applying to DKU, in addition to internal grants from international organizations, you can also apply for a state grant.

State grants are allocated for all undergraduate and graduate programs of our university!

You can apply for both the internal grant and the state grant, but if a positive decision is made about the simultaneous allocation of two grants, you will have to choose one of them, which seems the most attractive to you.

Internal grants

About 40% of DKU undergraduate and graduate students receive grants/scholarships each year from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) or the German Ministry of the Interior.

All grants/scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. The decision to award grants is made by the scholarship committee. The meeting of the scholarship committee and the announcement of the results takes place at the end of August.

All scholarships/grants are awarded for one academic year!

Both BA and MA applicants wishing to receive one or another type of internal grant/scholarship must:

1. To pass online registration of applicants at the link univer.dku.kz/abiturient_user/register/.

All fields must be filled in, otherwise your scholarship application will not be displayed in the program.

2. During the online registration process, submit your scholarship application. When applying, the types of scholarships for which the applicant is applying must be noted. For each type of scholarship, a specific set of documents must be uploaded to the portal. All the required documents are uploaded while submitting the online application. Only those applications that contain a complete set of documents attached to them are submitted to the scholarship committee for consideration.
