International Project Coordinator

The German-Kazakh University (DKU) is an international network university in Almaty. Based on a German-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement, it is a flagship project for academic relations between the two countries. The DKU receives long-term funding from the DAAD and the Federal Foreign Office. A German university consortium supports the University. Together with its Kazakh partner universities, DKU is building platforms to combine education, research, and innovation for sustainable development in Central Asia. Almost 700 students study at the University.

Salary & Employment Details:

• Salary: From 500,000 ₸ per month (net)

About the role:

Embrace a new challenge by utilizing your intercultural expertise and management skills. You will report directly to the President and collaborate with the Office of the President team. Your primary function will be to serve as a key liaison between our international partner organizations, especially in Germany, and the University's faculties and administrative units.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee joint international projects, programs, and activities of the University.
• Maintain effective communication and cooperation between all DKU faculties, units, and the external project and pogrammes partners.
• Gather all relevant information to clarify needs and analyze requests. Identify and recommend activities and interactions with external stakeholders.
• Initiate and support international public relations and science communications.
• Assist in the administration of Board meetings.

Requirements:

HEAD OF THE MARKETING DEPARTMENT

Salary & Employment Details:

• Salary: From 600,000 ₸ per month (net)
• Work Experience: More than 6 years
• Employment Type: Full-time

• Work Format: On-site at the employer's location

Responsibilities:

• Managing employees of the Marketing Department.
• Preparing the annual marketing, advertising, and PR plan and event calendar, as well as the annual DKU report for approval by the Presidium.
• Developing marketing and promotion strategies for DKU based on the university’s strategic goals.
• Monitoring and analyzing market trends in higher education in Kazakhstan and internationally.
• Proposing ways to improve the competitiveness of DKU's educational programs.
• Planning and implementing marketing activities to enhance DKU's image and brand awareness.
• Developing DKU’s corporate design for all visual elements.
• Managing public communications and coordinating DKU events.
• Preparing the marketing department budget for the finance department.
• Controlling and monitoring the quality of services promised in service contracts, as well as overseeing the delivery and documentation of advertising material purchases.
• Strategically planning advertising activities and implementing them through digital channels, print media, event and cooperative marketing, word-of-mouth, public relations, sales promotions, sponsorships, cross-channel promotions, and location-based marketing.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Business Administration; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• 7+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or sales.
• Fluency in German or English, with a good command of Kazakh.
• Ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and PR strategies, concepts, methods, and channels, especially in digital marketing and digital advertising.
• Preferably, knowledge of the higher education market in Kazakhstan and internationally.

Менеджер по обеспечению качества

Условия и заработная плата:

• до 250 000 ₸ за месяц, на руки

Обязанности:

• Участие в разработке, внедрении и совершенствовании системы обеспечения качества вуза на основе международных и казахстанских стандартов.
• Участие в разработке внутренних нормативных документов университета согласно международным и казахстанским стандартам обеспечения качества.
• Организация и проведение анализа соответствия существующей системы обеспечения качества современным стандартам и требованиям (анкетирование, опросы различных групп стейкхолдеров вуза и т. п.).
• Участие в координации формирования общего пакета документов для проведения аккредитации университета.
• Подготовка аналитических отчетов о функционировании системы обеспечения качества.
• Обеспечение методической и аналитической поддержкой деятельность подразделений университета в области качества образования.

Требования:

• Высшее образование.
• Опыт работы в организациях образования не менее 3-х лет (опыт работы в области обеспечения качества в вузах будет преимуществом).
• Знание технологий и навыков работы с данными, трендов цифровых технологий.
• Базовые знания предметной отрасли.
• Знание английского/немецкого (уровень В1) и казахского языков (желательно).
• Своевременное выполнение поставленных задач.
• Умение работать самостоятельно и в команде, уверенная и открытая коммуникация, лидерские качества.

Должен знать:

Достижения в области менеджмента в сфере образования. Законодательные и правовые акты, регламентирующие деятельность ВУЗов. Требования к аккредитации ВУЗов и образовательным программам. Порядок составления и согласования планов деятельности. Порядок заключения и исполнения договоров и контрактов. Экономику, организацию труда и управления. Основы трудового законодательства.

Условия:

• График работы с 9:00 до 18:00, 5/2.
• Трудовой договор заключается согласно ТК РК.
• Испытательный срок 3 месяца.
• Отпуск – 30 календарных дней.
