On 1st April 2025, the Kazakh-German University will host the XVII Annual International Scientific Student Conference "CONTEMPORARY GLOBAL TRENDS: CHALLENGES AND RISKS FOR CENTRAL ASIA".
The conference aims to present, discuss, and promote current student research on all aspects of global events and their impact on Central Asia. The development of modern society is undergoing profound changes and new global challenges in connection with geopolitical, financial and energy instability, pandemics, food, environmental and information security, and research and technology competition.
To what extent can the economic and socio-political situation in the countries of Central Asia allow us to speak about the dynamic and sustainable development of these countries in the medium term? What is the strategy for the development of the state against the background of competition from the global and regional centers of power? What opportunities and development prospects does Kazakhstan have in view of the current reality? These related questions will be discussed at the conference.
