We invite women from Central Asia to a training on renewable energy

DKU and OSCE are pleased to invite you to a 5-day training on renewable energy (RES), energy transition and energy efficiency, designed for young specialists and students from the fields of energy, RES, environment or STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

What does this course offer?

expand your knowledge of green energy technologies, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency; get a practical understanding of the clean energy sector by visiting a renewable energy facility in Kazakhstan; and also to conduct networking with industry experts and potential employers. Dates of the training: April 17 — 21, 2023

Venue: DKU, 173 Nazarbayev Street, Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Language: English, Russian (simultaneous translation).

12 participants from Central Asian countries, as well as several residents of Almaty, will be selected.

Deadline: February 20, 2023.

Participation in the training is free of charge. All expenses related to travel, accommodation and meals for selected participants will be covered by the organizers.

Who can apply?

Women studying and/or working in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy infrastructure, ecology or STEM. Citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan or Afghanistan (living in Central Asia). Age: from 18 to 35 years old. Those who have the desire and opportunity to fully participate in the training.
