In Almaty on April 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., a scheduled city-wide safety training was held. As noted in the city Department of Emergency Situations (Department of Emergency Situations), the main purpose of seismotraining is to improve the level of preparation of the city's population to act in extreme situations, so that residents have identified in advance evacuation routes, safe places, prepared emergency suitcases. In the Kazakh-German University administration together with staff, faculty and students held a training evacuation. Evacuation was held in two buildings of the university - on Pushkin Street 111 and on Nazarbayev Avenue 173. In addition, responsible for the evacuation, university employees Yanushev D. and Saniyazova N. conducted an introductory briefing on the rules of behavior and actions during an emergency.
