Program “ÓRLEÝ” (Өrleu)

The Shakhmardan Yessenov Scientific and Educational Foundation announces a competition for 10 grants for applicants and students from low-income families who have not received a state or any other grant to pay for higher (bachelor's) education.

Participants of the program can become only students citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who have good academic performance (in the certificate should not be grades below 4 (four) on a five-point scale or analogues in the letter, percentage system) or GPA is not lower than 2.67, from low-income families for further study in higher education in the Republic of Kazakhstan (bachelor's degree).

To participate in the competition of the program “ÓRLEÝ” (Өrleu) it is necessary to submit an online application in the period from May 22 to July 22, 2024 through the website of the Foundation yessenovfoundation.org.

**The application process will end on July 22, 2024 at 15:00 Astana time.

Applications must be accompanied by: Required documents for parent or legal representative:

  1. scanned copy of ID card;
  2. certificate of pension: age, disability (if available). 3;
  3. certificate of allowance: on loss of breadwinner, unemployment, TSA and other grounds, according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (if available);
  4. certificate on the presence or absence of the object of entrepreneurship;
  5. statement of pension deductions as of the date of application submission from the legal representative and (or) parents of the grant applicant;
  6. information on the presence/absence of housing, automobile, subsidiary farm, etc.

Mandatory documents for the applicant:

  1. A scanned copy of the ID card;
  2. Letter of motivation (not more than 750 words) containing: information about yourself and family, how many people live in the family; about your interests and hobbies; your accomplishments; information about the reasons why you need financial assistance for tuition fees; why he/she chose this particular specialty for education; plans for the next 10 years.
  3. high school diploma/college diploma (applications of applicants with grades below “good and excellent” are not considered), certificate of passing UNT (for admission to universities), transcript for university students; Certificate of disability (if available); Certificate of a pupil of an orphanage or youth home.

Additional documents:

  1. Certificates and diplomas for academic achievements - no more than 2 pieces*;
  2. Certificates and diplomas for other achievements (sports, creative and similar) - not more than 2 pieces*;
  3. Photos for the last three years: Family, where there are all family members or most of them (for the last three years) - 2 pcs. If necessary, the Foundation reserves the right to request additional documents.
