The President of DKU, Professor Wolrad Rommel, has been awarded the II degree Order of “Dostyk” (“Friendship”).
This order is awarded to individuals for their significant contributions to preserving mutual harmony in society, strengthening peace, friendship, and cooperation between nations.
The award ceremony took place on February 12 at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Berlin. On the same day, a round table discussion was held on the topic: "Kazakhstan-Germany Cooperation in Higher and Vocational Education: Current State and Prospects." Participants included representatives of relevant ministries, educational and scientific organizations from Germany, as well as experts in dual and vocational education.
Professor Rommel emphasized the importance of academic partnership between Kazakhstan and Germany. During the round table, participants discussed prospects for joint projects and further steps to advance educational cooperation.
