On May 22, the leadership of the Kazakh-German University (DKU) visited the Central Asian Institute for Environmental Research (CAIER).
CAIER is one of the leading research organizations in the region in the field of environmental studies and sustainable development. The institute implements projects in water resource management, environmental monitoring, ESG, and climate agenda.
Representing DKU were University President Wolrad Rommel, Rector Assel Ajibaeva, and Vice President for International Cooperation Askat Zhilkaidarov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of environment, sustainable development, energy, and education. Special attention was given to joint research projects, exchange of experience, and the implementation of educational initiatives.
Partnership with international and regional expert organizations opens new opportunities for DKU to develop academic cooperation, strengthen scientific capacity, and train specialists capable of effectively addressing modern global challenges.
